TOPSGRUP, One of the largest security group in India, valued at INR 20 billion, has cost savings of up to 30% with the successful implementation of Oracle BPEL Process Manager and Oracle® Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) Suite in the FY 09-10.

TOPSGRUP, One of the largest security group in India, valued at INR 20 billion, has cost savings of up to 30% with the successful implementation of Oracle BPEL Process Manager and Oracle Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) Suite in the FY 09-10.

Oracle BPEL Process Manager has played a prominent role in assembling TOPSGRUPs discrete services such as HR, Sales, Purchases, Finance, Procurement, Inventory, CRM among others into an end-to-end process flow to radically reduce the cost and complexity of its process integration initiatives.

Oracle Business Activity Monitoring (BAM), on the other hand, is helping TOPSGRUPs business executives and managers to build interactive, real-time dashboards and proactive alerts for monitoring business processes and services. This includes providing them with information they need in order to make better decisions and take corrective actions if the business environment changes.

These Oracle Fusion Middleware components ha

ve enabled the company to significantly improve operational efficiencies, meet regulatory compliance requirements and enhance its competitive advantage.

For instance, alerts are sent to relevant people if internal security checks for new employees are not initiated within 7 days of joining, if recruitment requests are not completed within 30 days, or if a new employee does not receive a joining kit before a certain time period. Similarly, the system enables the company to automatically assign leads and approve purchase requisition even when multiple or cross branch approvals are involved.
