Toshiba’s new Canvio Portable Hard Drive product line is now available in India through its distributor, Rashi Peripherals.

Toshibas new Canvio Portable Hard Drive product line is now available in India through its distributor, Rashi Peripherals.

According to a company statement, Toshiba Canvio Portable hard drive is an easy-to-use computer backup solution with up to 1 Terabyte (1TB) of storage capacity to protect large amounts of digital content being created and stored on computers. It weighs less than 170 grams and is smaller than a postcard.

The Canvio is positioned to appeal to consumers at diverse digital levels both with its design and its ease of use with simple plug and play operation for novices and professional users. The drive comes with a very easy set up process and set-it-and-forget-it operation with a facility to automatically and regularly back up a computer while it is in use, claims a press release.

Other features of this product includes a Windows-based NTI BackupNow EZ software, upgraded with improved search capabilities and simpler step - b

y- step restore functionality to retrieve lost files. Professional and tech savvy users of the Canvio can further customize it for extensive backup options, advanced restore functionalities, and an ability to overwrite specific original files.

The Canvio offers an option for complete system backup, enabling users to restore select files or the entire computer, even if the Windows operating system is unable to start.

Toshiba Canvio is available in various capacities like 320 GB for INR 3780, 500 GB for INR 5130 and 1 TB for INR 11070.
