Incorporated on 30th May 1990, Persistent Systems is ready to celebrate its 20 glorious years on 30th May, 2010 with lots of excitement and contentment. On the occasion of the 20th anniversary celebration, the company will be organizing variety of activities like introduction of companys invigorated logo, events and internal competitions that would include technology sessions, quiz contests amongst others and many more such plans.

Commenting on this occasion, Dr. Anand Deshpande, Chairman and Managing Director of Persistent Systems said, As we celebrate our 20th anniversary, I am delighted about the progress we have made in the last two decades. From a modest beginning in 1990, we have had an exciting journey culminating in Persistent being listed on the Indian stock exchanges this year. We have excellent relationships with our customers, who are leaders and are shaping the industry. I would also like to thank our present and former employees who have delivered and continue

to be focused and persistent. It is their contribution, hard work and sacrifice that has got us here.

Further commenting Dr. Deshpande said, We are excited about the opportunities ahead and are confident that we will continue to excel in our endeavors. We have made new investments in four thrust areas: cloud computing, analytics, enterprise mobility and enterprise collaboration. We believe that these areas will contribute significantly to the future growth of the company.

The celebration will also involve all Persistent employees and its stakeholders spread across the globe and will continue till 2011 Gudhi Padawa, which is also Persistents foundation day. Since its foundation, Persistent has achieved many milestones and is today a leader in the outsourced software product development (OPD) category.
