Ron Rose Joins Dell Executive Leadership Team

Ron Rose, the former chief information officer of Priceline.com, will be the new senior vice president of Dell.com. He will report to Michael Dell, chairman and CEO.

Ron Rose, the former chief information officer of Priceline.com, will be the new senior vice president of Dell.com. He will report to Michael Dell, chairman and CEO.

According to Mr Dell, Ron has wider experience in IT field and we are sure that he is able to lead the rich legacy of Dell. He has excellent operational expertise and experience in online technology. These will be helpful for us to deliver even more personalized, relevant solutions to customers on a global scale.

Mr. Ron will be responsible for Dells global online platforms, together with Dell.com customer Premier Pages and online customer support. Dell is committed to enhance its industry-leading e-commerce engine, online capability and to improve overall customer experience, with the appointment of Mr Ron, the company is endorsing this fact.

Through Dell.com, billions of revenue is flowing. The company is well-known in e-commerce destinations in the wo

rld, serving people in 160 countries. Last year, Dell.com witnessed the visit of 1.7 billion by about 500 million people.

Mr. Rose joined Priceline.com in 1999 and was there for more than a decade and helped the company to build its reputation for outstanding technology execution.

Besides, he also build and manage IT infrastructure provides travel services in 90 countries around the world. Before joining Priceline.com, he was the chief technology officer for Standard and Poor Retail Markets.
