Nigel Clifford to Lead Micro Focus as CEO

Nigel Clifford will spearhead Micro Focus from May 1, 2010 as Chief Executive Officer. He has nearly 30 years of leadership experience at international technology companies.

Nigel Clifford will spearhead Micro Focus from May 1, 2010 as Chief Executive Officer. He has nearly 30 years of leadership experience at international technology companies. Mr Clifford was the CEO of Symbian Limited before its acquisition by Nokia in December 2008.

Under his leadership, he could successfully integrate Nokia with Symbian and then became Senior Vice President Strategy, Technology&Architecture, Devices at Nokia. Symbian gained remarkable growth while he led the company during his three years tenure.

Though details are not available, presently he is a non executive director of Anite plc.

According to Kevin Loosemore, Chairman of Micro Focus, With an extensive leadership experience, Nigel can lead Micro Focus towards success. He worked as chief executive for more than 14 years in various companies, in which nine years was in software industry. Nigel is an outcome of our extensive
