Sony plans to acquire 30% of the total market share...
With the plans to attain 30% of the total market share, Sony introduces 3D TV to India which is the next big trend in the evolution of multimedia entertainment. The new range offers hours of endless entertainment to users with Internet enabled TV. The new LED technology based range to provide breakthrough visual experience with sharp images delivered through cutting-edge video quality. Exuding aesthetic appeal, the new range of BRAVIA series will be available in the new and stylish Monolithic design concept, providing the consumers unparalleled television viewing experience at home. With the new technology offering Sony aims to achieve 30% share in the LCD TV segment by Financial Year 2010-2011, which was 25% in the corresponding period last year. Company will continue the focus to strengthen brand image this year with an investment of Rs. 1400 million towards ATL and BTL activities that involves print and electronic media, online, outdoor and shop-front and planned to increase sales t
o 800k units in Financial Year 2010-2011 up from 400k units last year.

He added, Indian consumer today has become all the more technology savvy and with the launch of new technologies like 3D, Internet TV and LED, we want to ensure that they get nothing but the best.
With revolutionary technology such as Motionflow 200Hz with Image Blur Reduction, one can watch smoother sports&action scenes. The Live Colour feature produces incredibly vivid colors on the screen. Not only that, the new range of TVs also come enabled with MPEG Noise reduction and Intelligent Picture Plus which considerably reduce noise that is normally found in many scenes and produces pictures that are much sharper, clear and noise-free.
Sony has announced 24 new models in NX, EX & BX series and
screen sizes varying from 22 to 60 inches.
