Buffalo Technology showcased new variant of its portable hard disk drive. The new drive belongs to USB2.0 portable HDD MiniStation HD-PET series.
 
The disk automatically stops rotating if the HDD is not accessed for a set amount of time, reducing unnecessary battery use. This high spec model also includes data backup software and encryption software for protecting your data.
 
This High speed portable HDD comes with TurboPC and TurboCopy, software that enables high-speed transfer at up to double that of previous models, enabling you to transfer large numbers of digital images or video files quickly and easily. TurboPC increases speed by using the computer memory to optimize reading and writing to the HDD and for caching. And also uses the computers standard internal HDD for caching. TurboPC also increases speed performance of the computer. TurboCopy optimizes and speeds up the standard Windows copying function.

The new drive is available in five colors

of Ruby red, Pearl white, Crystal black, Rapis blue and Cherry Blossom pink  and supports Eco Manager to reduce power consumption.Backed with a 3years warranty the 320GB MiniStation HD-PET320U2 is available for INR 8400 MRP,  500GB MiniStation HD-PET500U2  is available for INR 12000 (MRP) and  640GB  MiniStation HD-PET640U2 is available for INR 20000 (MRP).
