Oracle announced that Sharda University (under the aegis of Sharda Education Trust), has selected Oracle Peoplesoft Campus Solutions to enable it to offer world-class services to faculty, students, employees and external stakeholders.


The solution, which will cater to 3000 users initially, will be implemented by Citagus India Private Ltd., IT solutions and services company with specialized experience in implementing Oracle PeopleSoft solutions.


As a part of its expansion plans, Sharda University is looking to re-engineer its business processes to create a stable and auditable environment. Anticipating future growth and the need to remain secure and compliant with regulations, Oracle solutions will equip the University with an IT system that will support its people-centered needs and multi-campus requirements.


The university chose Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions over competing solutions and joins some 800 campuses in more than 20 countries deploying the worlds leading student system and alumni development solution for higher education.
