With the advancements of technology, the digicam market is witnessing the entrance of more such companies and it is ultimately leading to cut throat competition. The companies are vying to serve consumers by providing different models of Digital Cameras. Not only this, the prices of these digital cameras, are also falling day by day. Surveying about this in Patna market, we got a mixed bag of opinions from the dealers dealing in digital cameras. In fact the dealers with whom we talked had quite different opinions from one another about the companies of Digital cameras. But the overall conclusion that we derived from this survey was that digital camera market in Patna is booming.Arun Rangla of Digital Equipments in Patna who deals brands like Canon, Nikon, Kodak etc , said The digital camera market is booming, this is mainly because of the special offers that are provided by the digicam companies. He also informed that last month a memento kind of gift was provided by Kodak in the form

of a gold polish coin. According to him Canons 480 model is in great demand and he rates Canon as the company having highest demand in digicams, closely followed by Kodak. He further informed that the sales of these digicams go up during festive seasons.Another dealer Pappu Kumar, owner of Suvidha Color Lab, dealing in various digicam companies, rated Nikon at the top in terms of highest consumer demand, though there was no particular reason behind this. He said, People prefers  a particular brand by getting influence from one another rather than going by companys name. Though Nikons price are higher and no special offers arse offered by the company yet it has a higher sales as compared to other brands.Mani Bhushan of Mass Communication said, Nikon leads the digicam market in terms of consumer demand but Sony and Canon digicams also has good demands. He also believes that digicam markets are gaining momentum with the passage of time but the demands keeps on changing time to time and t
