Cura Signs New OEM Agreement with SAP

Global governance, risk and compliance vendor Cura Software Solutions, a subsidiary of SoftPro Systems Limited announced an OEM agreement with SAP AG, through which users of Curas next-generation solutions will benefit from integration with best-of-breed, on-demand reports from SAP. Cura plans to integrate SAP BusinessObjects Edge Business Intelligence (BI), Crystal Reports and Xcelsius software with the forthcoming release of Cura Audit and Cura v3 Dashboards governance, risk and compliance (GRC) solutions starting April 2010.


This agreement is a vital step for Cura, since it allows us to focus more deeply on the logic and intellectual property that lies within our suite of GRC solutions, while knowing that the reporting and dashboarding end of the equation is being handled by one of the most trusted names in the market, said Avi Eyal, CEO, Cura Software.  As an SAP BusinessObjects OEM partner, we will also have access to functionality we werent able to offer our cus

tomers before. Were looking forward to offering our customers reporting and dashboarding functionality that not only looks more visually appealing, but is compiled within much shorter timeframes and is more customizable and granular in nature. Prior to entering into the agreement with SAP BusinessObjects, Cura had a proprietary reporting engine, which required substantial development and upkeep to stay abreast of technology and product changes.  Curas customers required new methods of interaction with reporting and dashboarding data.  After a detailed review of solutions, Cura chose SAP BusinessObjects BI software due to its comprehensive functionality available using Java in the web browser environment.  The incorporation of the SAP reporting
