Acer introduced 5738D 3 dimension laptop. The 3D enabled 5738D is a three pillar system that relies upon a 3D film coating on the display, polarising glasses and bespoke software to display video, games and photo in 3D. The LCD technology works as both 2D and 3D displays.

The cinematic style 3D home theatre allows the user to both enjoy and share 3D movies and photos. Real time 2D-to-3D playback convert technology enables the viewing of any video, DVDs and pictures and games as virtual output.

Acer CineReal 3D solution accompanied by 16:9 Acer CineCrysteal LED display that exhibits true HDTV 16:9 cinematic aspect.

Users slip on a pair of included 3D polarizer eyeglasses, which filter 2D images to 3D, and enjoy eye-popping, true cinematic high def playback of movies, video and games.

The 5738D series exhibits superior mobile performance powered by the Intel processor technology and has up to 4GB of DDR3 1066 MHz dual channel memory for long lasting enjoyment. High Def visual fidelity is brought to the fore with the best-in-class 3D graphics and full HD playback capability with dedicated graphics. Acer SignalUp with Acer InviLinkNplify wireless technology enhances Wi-Fi Certified network connection. The notebook offers enhanced connectivity with 3G option and gigabit LAN for stable and high-bandwidth wired connectivity.

The Aspire 5738D series of 3D notebooks come in two flavours, one on the Pentium dual core platform and other on the core2duo platform. The Aspire 5738DzG is available starting at 43,515 plus taxes and the 5738DG(C2D) would be available at end user price of 47,379
