Transtek Infoways Pvt. Ltd., one of the leading distributors for IT components and peripherals has announced appointment of representatives in Lucknow and Coimbatore.

Speaking on this expansion plans, MD, Transtek Infoways, Rajeev Sood informed, “We are going to add channel partners in cities like Lucknow, Coimbatore and Kolkata. In East-India, we are also targeting Guwahati, Bhubaneshwar and the state of Jharkhand.”

Transtek has also recently added more sales personnel at its existing branches to gain further momentum in business.

On the question of some tie-ups in the pipeline, Sood said,” Presently, we want to stabilize our existing product line. There are some talks with some vendors but it will be too early to comment on the status of this strategy.”

Transtek is looking to have presence at 25 locations by the end of this year. The company is national distributor for Maxtor, Kingston, Genius and Xfree.

The distributor recently held seminars in association with Genius in cities like Chennai and Mumbai.
